Mustard Seed & Co.
Women's Coaching, Brainstorming & Everything in Between
About
Hi, I’m Beth, founder of Mustard Seed & Co., and I believe big things grow from small beginnings.
You know that feeling when you're ready for something to change, but you're not quite sure what comes next? Maybe you're wrestling with a decision, navigating a transition, or feeling ready for something more.
You don't have to figure it all out on your own.
At Mustard Seed & Co., you'll have space to talk things through, see things from a fresh perspective, and get clearer about what matters most to you. Together, we'll untangle what's going on and figure out practical next steps that make sense for your life.
My approach is warm, honest, thoughtful, and practical. I'll listen without judgment, ask questions that help you see new possibilities, and work alongside you as you figure out where you want to go and how to get there. No cookie-cutter formulas or one-size-fits-all answers. Just thoughtful conversation, fresh perspective, and action when you're ready.
My background includes more than 15 years in healthcare, where communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving have been central to my work. I also hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and completed a clinical internship working with women at the YWCA. These experiences have shaped my belief that meaningful change starts with feeling heard, recognizing your possibilities, and finding the confidence to take that next step.
The name Mustard Seed & Co. reflects the heart of what we do.
“Though it is the smallest of all seeds, when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.”

You don't need a perfect plan or all the answers. You just need a place to start.

I look forward to connecting with you!

Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly happens in a coaching session?
Think of it as time set aside for you. We’ll talk about what’s happening in your life, what you want to change or accomplish, and what might be getting in the way. I’ll help you sort through the thoughts, ideas, and possibilities and then turn them into a path forward that feels realistic for you.
I know I want something to change, but I don't know what. Can coaching still help?
Absolutely. You don't have to arrive with a perfectly defined goal. Sometimes the first step is simply getting everything out of your head and figuring out what matters most. We can start there.
What kinds of things can we work on?
Whatever is taking up space in your head and keeping you from moving forward. That might be a career decision, a new chapter, a goal you've been putting off, a big idea you don't know how to start, or simply feeling like you've lost your direction. We’ll identify what matters to you and work from there.
What makes your coaching different?
I’m not interested in handing you a generic five-step formula. I want to understand you, what you're trying to accomplish, and what is realistically going to work in your life. I’m naturally a “let’s figure this out” person, so our conversations tend to move from “I don't know what to do” toward “Okay, here's what I can do next.”
Will you tell me what I should do?
No. You know your life better than I do. My role is to ask the right questions, offer perspective, help you see possibilities you may not be seeing, and help you create a plan you can actually own.
What if I have a million things going on?
Bring the million things. 😊 We’ll start by getting them out of your head and figuring out what deserves your attention first. You don't have to solve everything at once.
Do I need to prepare anything before our session?
No elaborate homework required. If there’s something specific you’ve been thinking about, bring it with you. If you have no idea where to start, that’s okay too.
How often should I meet with you?
There isn't one right answer. Some people benefit from meeting regularly, while others prefer to schedule sessions when they need support with a particular goal or decision. We’ll find a rhythm that makes sense for you.
Is coaching therapy?
No. Coaching and therapy serve different purposes. Coaching with Mustard Seed & Co. is focused on your goals, personal growth, decisions, accountability, and creating forward movement. It is not mental health treatment or a replacement for therapy.
What if I’m not sure I’m ready?
You don't have to have everything figured out before you reach out. Sometimes being unsure is exactly why a conversation can be helpful. We can start with where you are and see what makes sense from there.
